Experience our airport from a different angle. Our spotting points are versatile with their directions: from the take-off side West, the landing site North-west to the Airlift Monument. On this page, we've listed all of our spotting points for you.

Take-off site West

Our take-off site West is also known as "18 West," and presents you (depending on the wind) also a great view of the southern landing site.

In case of strong northern wind, please note that 18 West cannot be used as take-off site.

Parking lots are about 100m / 0.06miles away at the Airportring / Okrifteler Straße.

Landing site North-West

Regardless of wind and landing direction, on our youngest landing site North-West, you can get an amazing view over the site.

Our tip: since the site is facing north, your pictures will be with very good light.

Airlift monument

Especially popular and known with plane fans is our airlift monument and it's observation deck. As the spot is near said airlift, if offers an amazing view of our airport. Depending on the west wind, you can spot air crafts in various sizes from here.

Parking lots for the monument and the spotting points are above the highway bridge.
