This October, join our exclusive Weather Discovery Tours to take a behind-the-scenes look at the airport’s winter operations and aircraft de-icing. Visit our exciting special weather exhibition at the Visitors' Center and win a unique tour of the apron control tower!

On our unique, live-guided Weather Discovery Tours, you will visit places that are normally off-limits to visitors. Look forward to seeing the airport's winter operation with its impressive fleet of vehicles, the exclusive aircraft de-icing areas right next to the West Runway, and the German Weather Service’s centrally located weather observation station with its spectacular view of the airport grounds. Our exciting tour lasts about 120 minutes; the minimum age is 6 years.
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, all participants will receive a free umbrella from our partner and umbrella specialist, “doppler.” We wish you a great time!

Our opening hours are usually Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Experience the airport from a whole new perspective—we wish you a lot of fun!

On our 45-minute starter tour, you will experience the airport in a “short and sweet” way. From the bus, you will see aircraft refueling, takeoffs, landings, and a wide variety of aircraft paintwork up close. The tour is moderated live. XXL-Tour

Fire Department-Tour
Discover the impressive Fire Station 3 at Frankfurt Airport on our exciting Fire Department-Tour – accompanied by real Fraport firefighters! Includes a live-moderated apron tour. Every Wednesday and Saturday, for children aged 6 and above. Have fun!
