Airport Tours

Do you know which building at Frankfurt Airport could easily accommodate the Eifel Tower, or what happens to mangos before they wind up on supermarket shelves? You can learn all this and much more by going on one of our airport tours with live narration. You sit comfortably in an air-conditioned bus without the need to get out at any point.

Our tour guides are looking forward to sharing their insider information with you!

We’re delighted to welcome you back to Frankfurt Airport!

All visitor activities at Frankfurt Airport are subject to the Ordinance of the State of Hesse on Coronavirus Contacts and Operational Restrictions of May 17, 2021. In order to reliably protect all of our guests and employees, this year the following rules apply to your visit:

Every guest (including children) requires

  • a ticket purchased online in advance (it’s not possible to purchase tickets on-site) and
  • a negative Covid-19 antigen test result from the same day (no self-tests allowed) or
  • proof of being fully vaccinated or
  • proof of having recovered from Covid-19 (the physician’s letter or certificate must have been issued at least 28 days not more than six months beforehand)

Children under 12 are exempt from this rule but still require an online ticket.

Please also make sure to observe our hygiene and conduct rules!

During our “short but sweet” 45-minute Starter Tour, you experience selected highlights of the airport. While riding on the bus there is lots to watch from up close, including planes being fueled and loaded and taking off. You can also admire colorful aircraft livery from around the world. It will make you long for distant lands!

The tour naturally features live narration, and our tour guides are looking forward to answering all of your questions.

Frankfurt Airport is an integral part of Frankfurt, just like the city's skyline, the Römer, and apple wine. Over the years it has become one of Frankfurt's most prominent hallmarks. Well-connected by all modes of transportation, it’s an excellent destination for excursions of all kinds, regardless of the weather. Whether you’re looking for ideas for a pleasant outing or a venue for work-related meetings, Frankfurt Airport is ideal. And our airport tours are the perfect complement to a visit
to the city of Frankfurt.  Frankfurt Airport isn’t just a major transportation hub; it’s also a place to have memorable experiences and learn many interesting facts about aviation and flying. How does tropical fruit wind up on your table for breakfast? Where else could you experience the laws of physics “close enough to touch” than during a tour of Frankfurt Airport?
