All major car rental companies are represented in both terminals at Frankfurt Airport. In Terminal 1, the Car Rental Center is located in Hall A in the Airport City Mall area - one level above the regional train station. And in Terminal 2, the Car Rental Center can be found in Hall D on the arrivals level.

Via the autobahn A3, A5 or motorway B43, follow the signs "Terminal 1" and "Car Rental Return". Then enter the "Car Rental Return".

Further important information on returning rental cars at Frankfurt Airport:
- It's possible to return cars from all rental companies at either terminal; except wheego cars and OK Mobility cars - they can only be returned in Terminal 2.
- Please don't forget the documents that you received when renting the vehicle.
- Depending on where your flight leaves from, it may be necessary to go to the other terminal instead of the one where you obtained the vehicle. Both terminals therefore have car return lots for your convenience.
- There are two fueling stations near the airport that you can use to fill the car's tank before returning it.
- If you want to check a rental vehicle's condition together with an agency representative when returning it, please be at the airport earlier so there will be enough time.
