Travel by car

You can reach Frankfurt Airport by car from all directions. The A3, A67, and A5 motorways lead directly to Frankfurt Airport. Follow the signs to the airport and then to Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, as required.

Due to construction work, there are changes to traffic routing in the terminal area. Please refer to our website for further information on the traffic situation when planning your journey.

Stopping in the drop-off area directly in front of the terminals is free of charge twice per calendar day for up to 10 minutes. A maximum stopping time of 3 hours applies in these areas.

We recommend using our underground car parks or the multi-storey car park for three euros for up to 30 minutes. Our guidance system will guide you to a free parking space without a long search. From there, you can easily reach the arrivals and departures halls.

Frankfurt Airport is located outside the Frankfurt am Main low emission zone. It can be accessed by all types of vehicles.
