      Entry/Exit System for non-EU citizens

      The new Entry/Exit System (EES) is introduced for non-EU citizens. The EES replaces the passport stamp and records biometric and personal data upon entry and exit.

      From February 25, the United Kingdom will introduce a strict requirement for electronic travel authorization (ETA) for all visa-exempt travelers, including EU citizens. Without a valid ETA, you will be denied boarding. Please apply for your ETA online in good time before traveling to the United Kingdom. The authorization is digitally linked to your passport and is valid for two years.
