The airport offers a wide range of transport connections for your arrival and departure: take advantage of the well-developed public transport system, comfortable long-distance bus connections, or the Lufthansa Express Bus for a direct connection.
Current bus connections
There are a number of bus connections available for travel to and from the airport. The bus stops are located in front of Terminal 1 on the arrivals level and in front of Terminal 2 on level 2.
Please note that the following buses stop at both terminals:
- Bus line 61 (towards Frankfurt Südbahnhof)
- Bus line 62 (towards Schwanheim)

You can conveniently reach or leave Frankfurt Airport by long-distance bus. The bus stops are located at our P36 long-distance bus parking lot at Terminal 1.

Getting to the airport
Terminal 1 is about a 5-minute walk from the P36 long-distance bus parking lot via the signposted footpath. Terminal 2 can be easily reached with our free shuttle bus. The bus stop is located directly at the P36 long-distance bus parking lot.
Departure from the airport
From Terminal 1, you can reach the long-distance bus parking lot P36 via Arrivals C. Then keep to the right. The long-distance bus parking lot is signposted. From Terminal 2, you can easily reach the parking lot with our shuttle bus. The shuttle bus departs from Terminal 2 every 10 minutes.
