Lufthansa Express Rail is available from the following train stations:
Aachen, Basel, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Erfurt, Freiburg, Göttingen, Hannover, Karlsruhe, Kassel, Leipzig, Mannheim, Nuremberg, Stuttgart, Ulm and Würzburg.
You can check in online or via your mobile phone from 23 hours before your flight departs and up to 15 minutes before your train departs and drop off your luggage upon arrival at the long-distance train station at the AiRail Terminal to the destination.
Please note that AiRail Check-in is expected to be unavailable until 31st of May 2024 due to constructions. Please use the check-in and baggage claim facilities in Terminal 1, halls A and B during this time.
On your return journey, you can collect your baggage after landing in Frankfurt at the baggage claim close to the long-distance train station in the AiRail area and take it straight to your train.
