Before your luggage may be loaded into an aircraft, it must be inspected to ensure that it does not pose any aviation security risks. This is done in an automated procedure after it is checked. Passengers, who start their travel from Frankfurt Airport, are recommended to arrive at the airport 3 hours before departure.
