Experience the runways under your control. With the interactive game Apron Control, you can immerse yourself in the world of airport operations and take on the great responsibility of being an apron controller in the tower. As the hub of coordination, you virtually navigate the aircraft safely from the runway to the gate or from the parking position to the runway. Keep an eye not only on the aircraft on the taxiways, but also on the entire surrounding area. Master the complex tasks of an apron controller in three different difficulty levels.

Look forward to our new interactive fire department exhibit and become a hero yourself! Using state-of-the-art technology, you can fight fires in a realistic simulation and experience first hand how challenging and exciting everyday life as a firefighter is. Whether young or old, test your skills in a firefighting operation and enjoy a unique experience full of action and fun!

Digital telescopes take visitors on a surprising journey through 100 years of airport history and offer them a new interactive experience. Topics such as economics, sustainability and globalization are impressively staged and accompanied by virtual elements. Like all other exhibition stations, this exhibit was also specially designed and produced for the Visitors' Center.

The impressive light routes wind their way through the Visitors' Center over a distance of 325 meters and two floors. They trace the exact flight paths taken by large jets as they take off and land. Moving lights represent aircraft taking off and landing. The frequency of the lights is based on the actual traffic at our airport in 2019.

Here, children can slip into the role of an apron controller and listen to original radio transmissions. They can help airport mascot Fluggi take off or beat the high score in the ramp agent game or as a baggage loader. Of course, there is also the opportunity to assign aircraft to the correct parking position as a marshaller. We hope you enjoy playing!
