Economical Parking Spaces for Vacationers

We have expanded our popular parking product Holiday Parking by 2.000 parking spaces and will be offering this from February 1st 2024 at two different locations directly at Frankfurt Airport. When booking a parking space online, you can choose between Holiday Parking Nord (car park Gateway Gardens) and Holiday Parking Süd (car park Terminal 3). You can book a parking space inexpensively and exclusively online for a parking period of at least 3 days in advance. The comparison shows you where the two car parks are located and how the respective transfer to the departure terminal takes place.

Location and directions

By booking Holiday Parking Nord, you reserve a parking space in the car park Gateway Gardens.

  

Via the autobahn A3 and A5 take the exit B43 Flughafen Frankfurt and follow the signs F-Unterschweinstiege and then F-Gateway Gardens.

Transfer to Terminal 1

The transfer from the car park Gateway Gardens to Terminal 1 and back is via S-Bahn. Please note that you should be at the check-in at least 2 to 3 hours before departure (depending on your destination).


With your advance booking for Holiday Parking Nord, you will receive a RMV KombiTicket for up to 5 people, which you can use to travel on the S-Bahn (S8/S9) from the stop  "Gateway Gardens"  to the stop  "Regionalbahnhof Flughafen Frankfurt"  on the booked day of arrival and departure. The walk from the car park to the S-Bahn station takes approx. 5 minutes and is signposted on site. The S-Bahn runs around the clock; every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes at night. The journey takes approx. 2 minutes (1 stop).


Please check the departure times in advance on the RMV website and have your RMV KombiTicket ready for inspection on the S-Bahn. The person making the booking must also be the traveler!

More information

Please use the parking spaces on levels 3 to 9 in the car park Gateway Gardens and only drive to the parking spaces with charging stations on levels 1 and 2 with an electric vehicle.


Entrance height
The maximum entrance height for the car park Gateway Gardens is 2.10 m.

  

Gas-powered vehicles
You can park with all gas powered vehicles at car park Gateway Gardens.  


Electric vehicles
You can use the charging stations on levels 1 and 2 of the car park Gateway Gardens with an electric vehicle. It is not possible to make a reservation in advance. Electricity is billed on site at the charging station via third-party provider in compliance with calibration law.

Location and directions

By booking Holiday Parking Süd, you reserve a parking space in the car park Terminal 3.


Via the autobahn A5 take the exit CargoCity Süd and follow the green signs Terminal 3 / Parkhaus T3.

Transfer to the departure terminal

The transfer from the car park Terminal 3 to your departure terminal and back is provided by a free-of-charge shuttle bus. Please note that you should be at the check-in at least 2 to 3 hours before departure (depending on your destination).


The bus stop is located directly at the central entrance of the car park and is signposted on site. The shuttle bus runs around the clock every 30 minutes. Departure from the car park Terminal 3 is always on the hour and half hour. The journey to Terminal 1 takes about 15 minutes, to Terminal 2 about 30 minutes. The shuttle bus goes first to Terminal 1 and then to Terminal 2.


For the transfer back to the car park, you will find the bus stop at Terminal 1 in the parking lot P29, which is located on the arrivals level at the front of Hall A. You will find signs outside the terminal. The bus stop at Terminal 2 is located directly between the exit 6 and 8. Depending on traffic, the shuttle bus always leaves Terminal 1 about 20 past and about 10 to the full hour and returns to the car park Terminal 3 via Terminal 2.

Please use the parking spaces on levels 2 to 8 in the car park Terminal 3 and to keep, for example, parking spaces with charging stations free for authorized persons.
