Public Buses
Travel comfortably by bus to and from Frankfurt Airport
There are a number of bus connections available for getting to and from the airport. The Bus stops are located opposite Terminal 1 at arrival level and Terminal 2 at level 2.
Please note that the following buses stop at both terminals:
- Line 61 (direction Frankfurt South train station)
- Line 62 (direction Schwanheim)
Changes to the "AirLiner" (Frankfurt Airport - Darmstadt):
Please note that due to long-term construction measures, the "AirLiner" bus line no longer stops at Terminal 2, but at the bus stop "Hugo-Eckener-Ring". We recommend that passengers heading to Terminal 2 get off at Terminal 1 and transfer there to the free yellow shuttle bus.
Passengers arriving in Terminal 2 with the destination Darmstadt are also recommended to use the airport shuttle bus to Terminal 1 and change there to the "AirLiner". The bus stop "Deutsche-Telekom-Allee" is no longer available.
You can also download the latest AirLiner timetable at the bottom of this page.
Shuttle buses between the terminals
You can take shuttle buses between Terminals 1 and 2. They are free of charge and run every 10 minutes - daily and around the clock. It takes about 10 minutes to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2. Alternatively, you can use the SkyLine train to transfer between the terminals. For more information on bus schedules and fares in general, please visit the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund.
