How tall may vehicles be and still drive into the terminal parking structures?
Your vehicle may not be taller than 2.1 meters to drive into our terminal parking structures.
If you are driving a car taller than that:
For a relatively short amount of time, we recommend using our short-term parking at Terminals 1 and 2 or the bus parking (P36). If you need to park for a longer time, our Holiday Parking in the south of the airport is available for you to use. As of 1 June 2018 entrance with online booking only. Please note that your vehicle’s total loaded weight may not exceed 2.5 tonnes and it may not be longer than seven meters.

How can I reach your onsite personnel if I have any questions related to parking?
You can talk to our personnel any time of the day or night by pressing the call button on any pay machine or at any entrance or exit. We will be happy to help if you have a problem or question.

How do I find a free space in a terminal parking structure?
Our traffic and parking guidance system will automatically show you the way to a free space in a terminal parking structure. Simply follow the green traffic lights.

How do I find my vehicle again after returning?
The parking level and bay are printed on your parking ticket so you can easily find your vehicle again.

Are there parking spaces for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility?
We have extra-large parking spaces at Terminals 1 and 2 with direct, easy access to the check-in areas.
The parking spaces at Terminal 1 are in the underground part of the parking facility, which you can reach via entrance P4. Bay 225 on level 2 is reserved for you.
There are also parking spaces in the underground part of the parking structure at Terminal 2, which you can reach via entrance P8. We have reserved all of bay U417 on level U4 for you there.
When you get to the parking bay, please press the call button on the ticket dispenser. The parking management staff will be glad to open the barrier to let you drive in. Please place your legitimation card for special parking or your ID card for severely disabled persons (“G” or “aG”) in your vehicle’s window or on the dashboard where it is visible. The regular terminal parking prices also apply here.
You can also park for up to three hours without paying in front of the terminals for getting in or out or loading or unloading baggage. At the entrance to one of the short-term parking, please press the call button on the ticket dispenser and announce yourself. Please place your legitimation card for special parking or your ID card for severely disabled persons (“G” or “aG”) in your vehicle’s window or on the dashboard where it is visible. Please note that not all airport areas have special appropriate parking spaces for disabled persons.

You can obtain more information here.

Where can I park a gas-powered vehicle?
You can park a natural gas-powered vehicle anywhere at Frankfurt Airport. We regret that autogas (LPG) vehicles are not allowed inside the terminal parking structures. If you only need to park for a little while, we recommend that you use one of our short-term parking at Terminal 1 or 2. For lengthy stays, our Holiday Parking in the south of the airport is available. As of 1 June 2018 entrance with online booking only.

Where can I park and charge my electric vehicle? Does charging cost anything?
Electric vehicles can be charged in the parking structure at Terminal 1: use entrance P2 and drive to bay 1406. Charging is free there; you only have to pay the usual terminal parking rates.

Where can I find baggage carts in the terminal parking structures? Do they cost anything to use?
We keep a sufficient number of baggage carts in the connecting passageways to the terminals so that you can easily and conveniently get to check-in with your luggage. Each cart costs one euro to use, which you can pay with coins or a bill and at many locations also using a Maestro debit card or credit card. You can remove a cart from the dispenser after paying.

Where are machines for paying for parking, and what are my options for making payment?
You can pay for parking at one of a large number of machines, either in cash or using a Maestro debit card or a credit card (VISA, Mastercard or American Express). Machines are located at the main access points to all parking areas and structures.

What do I do if I lose my parking ticket?
Please talk to our on-duty personnel: press the call button on any pay machine or at any vehicle entrance or exit.

Can I use my mobile phone, smartphone or cell phone in the terminal parking structures?
Yes, there is good reception on all levels of our parking structures, both above and below ground.

Can I park on the Holiday Parking without reserving a space beforehand?
As of 1 June 2018 entrance with online booking only.

How often do the shuttle buses operate between the Holiday Parking and the terminals?
Our free shuttle buses connect the car park with both terminals around the clock. They stop near the entrance to the Holiday Parking.
Calculating When to Arrive

Please take into account that you should be at the check-in counter at least two or three hours (depending on the destination) before your flight leaves. You also need to ensure enough time to park your vehicle and ride the bus to the terminal (count on about 30 minutes for this). Because there are very few nighttime flights, the shuttle buses only operate between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. when requested. This can result in a longer wait.
To request a shuttle bus, press the call button at any stop along its route.

I have extra-large bags or bulky items with me – will this affect my use of the Holiday Parking shuttle buses?
Our shuttle buses are not designed to carry bulky or extra-large baggage. If you are departing, please unload at the terminal first (parking either in a loading and unloading zone or in a parking structure) and then park your vehicle on the Holiday Parking, and if returning from a trip retrieve your vehicle first and then pick up your oversize items at the terminal.

Are there seats for children on the Holiday Parking shuttle buses?
Yes, various child and booster seats are available. Please talk to our personnel.

Where can I get information on parking at airports in Germany and Austria?
On the website of Flughafen Parken GmbH you will find all offers of the airports Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Hanover and Cologne-Bonn.
