Green waiting areas, a newly designed information desk, and an Italian-style bistro give the central passenger area a completely new look
The area is now brighter and more open, while the green oases and the recently opened Frankfurt Airport Bistrot invite passengers and visitors to spend time in its welcoming atmosphere. This restores Departures Hall B to its traditional and cherished function as a central marketplace and meeting point at Frankfurt Airport.
The new restaurant has plenty to offer. Bread and rolls are baked in the open-style bakery at the Frankfurt Airport Bistrot every day, and the pizza dough is also made fresh here. The pizza oven is in use around the clock, and the grill prepares steaks, fish, and burgers. The selection of food is accompanied by an extensive drinks menu. The integrated coffee bar is ideal for short breaks. Those who are on the run will find numerous snacks to go.
The new restaurant is flanked on both sides by green waiting areas. The lush greenery shields the modern seating groups from the bustle of the terminal both visually and in terms of atmosphere. The new lighting concept immerses the waiting areas and bistro in a pleasant, warm light and creates an ambience of comfort in this part of the busy terminal.
The information desk also has a new look that complements the overall impression of Departures Hall B. Information on departures, arrivals and the airport’s service offering, as well as advice and support on all travel issues are available here.
Passengers and visitors can also find out about the wide range of services at Frankfurt Airport on the airport website, at the Service Shop and via the airport’s social media channels on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
