For its brand new 2017 global campaign, Samsonite invited a powerful group of 9 influencers (from dancers, fashion bloggers, and DJ’s to actresses and entrepreneurs) and put them in front of the lens of one of world’s leading photographers: Rankin. Each with their own inspiring story and profession, but foremost they are SERIOUS about travelling.
Known for his intimate approach and tongue-in-cheek sense of humour, Rankin and his creative agency The Full Service perfectly captured the performance of the talent effortlessly showing off Samsonite’s innovative technology, whilst having fun in the process.Synonymous with compelling portraiture, Rankin’s portfolio stretches from icons such as Kate Moss, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones to the Queen of England. Aside from photography, Ranking launched back in 1992 – together with Jefferson Hack – the iconic magazine Dazed & Confused. A decade later Jefferson and Rankin threw themselves in another adventure by launching AnOther Magazine and more recently they introduced HUNGER magazine. He also has his own creative agency called The Full Service, creating entire 360° campaigns under one roof across all touchpoints.
