Important notice for all FCS and LUG customers

Important notice for all FCS and LUG customers

Slot agreements will be necessary from May 15

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that, starting May 15, it will be necessary for both FCS and LUG to bindingly book a slot for deliveries and pick-ups.

From this time onwards, only vehicles that have booked a loading or unloading slot using the DAKOSY dock management system in advance online will be allowed to drive to these two companies’ loading docks. Drivers who have not booked a slot must report to a kiosk on site. In that case, it should be noted that it is not always possible to receive a slot quickly.

As a result of high demand, especially towards the end of last year, and long waiting periods for carriers at Frankfurt Airport, FCS and LUG joined forces with the FRA Cargo Team and SLV (Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association Hessen/Rhineland-Palatinate) to find solutions. One important measure being undertaken is the use of a loading dock management system. Even so, experience has shown that the system can only work efficiently to the benefit of everyone when it is used for all transports.

By introducing a mandatory registration requirement, both cargo handlers are hoping to achieve significant process improvements for all companies making deliveries or pick-ups. By making the entire handling process easier to plan, things should move more quickly, ensuring that continuously growing cargo volumes can continue to be handled efficiently in the future so that FRA can maintain its position as a leading cargo hub.

Many of the freight forwarders and trucking companies at CargoCity South are already familiar with the dock management system via Fair@Link. For all companies requiring a new registration for the system, there is a slightly limited version available that can be accessed free of charge. To ensure that the new registration process runs smoothly, registration must be made through the Dakosy system; due to data protection regulations, registration via Dakosy is also necessary to use the free version of the system. Therefore, we ask that you send an email to the following address as soon as possible: The deadline is May 4, 2018.

You will find more information on the dock management system here. Furthermore, all the companies involved will send out continuous updates on the new processes in the coming weeks. If you are interested in receiving this information, please send a registration request to so that you can be added to the mailing list.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the respective cargo handlers or us at any time:
