Under appropriate protection and hygiene measures, church services may once again be celebrated in the airport chapel. Participation is limited to five visitors. A midday prayer is held every Friday at 12 a.m.. In addition, the Pastoral Care Department invites you to attend services on Sunday, October 25, at 4 and 5 p.m. and on Reformation Day, Saturday, October 31, at 12 a.m..
At the Sunday services, the people who died in the respective month are also remembered and candles are lit for them.
You cannot come personally? You are welcome to send your prayer requests in advance by e-mail (email@example.com). These will be treated confidentially and included in the intercessions.

Protestant airport pastoral care
The Protestant airport chaplaincy belongs to the Lutheran Church of Hessen and Nassau. Its door is open to everyone: travelers, employees and visitors.
Please turn to the chaplaincy if you
- would like to speak confidentially with someone or require assistance,
- are experiencing a crisis and need someone to listen to you and give you support,
- would like to take advantage of a church service or rite (baptism, communion, wedding, blessing, funeral or memorial service), or
- simply need a word of hope and encouragement.
The airport is a large, colorful and hectic place. Unexpected things and mishaps occur here. Employees suffer from stress and tension. Joy and sadness are often conmingled. According to Psalm 23 “The Lord is my Shepherd”, God restores our soul. And we need restoration and refreshment at work and in our everyday lives in order to get closer to ourselves and God. Our three chapels here are islands of peace in a sea of tumult. They let you get back in touch with yourself and recharge your spiritual batteries.
Whether you are traveling alone or with a group - if you'd like a personal blessing for the journey or a short prayer before the start of the trip, please contact us. We're happy to be there for you - in one of our chapelsor directly at the gate.
