High Passenger Volumes Expected at Frankfurt Airport
We are expecting a busy Easter weekend at Frankfurt Airport from April 3 to 6. Longer wait times are anticipated, particularly at the border checkpoints, due to new European entry regulations for non-EU citizens. We kindly ask all passengers to allow sufficient time for the necessary procedures.
Non-EU citizens required to pass through border control for their flight are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to departure. Passengers with an EU passport, or those not required to pass through border control, should arrive 2.5 hours before departure if checking in luggage, or 2 hours prior if traveling with hand luggage only. More detailed information about the new EU entry/exit regulations can be found here.
General flight information is available on the website of your airline and at www.frankfurt-airport.com.
