Rest and Relax in Nature
You can relax in an idyllic oak forest in the airport's immediate vicinity. There are long trails for hiking or jogging. For children, there is a large adventure playground. You can get there in just 15 minutes by taking bus no. 62 from Terminal 1 or 2; get off at Rheinlandstrasse.

Explore Frankfurt on Your Own
From the airport's regional train station, you can reach central Frankfurt in only 15 minutes by metropolitan train (S-Bahn) line S8 or S9. If you'd like to combine convenient, free access to all of Frankfurt with numerous discounts for the Palmengarten botanical garden, ship rides, etc. we recommend that you purchase the Frankfurt Card.

By Bus to Frankfurt and Its Environs
Enjoy the old and new Frankfurt on a bus trip: see the towers of the former city wall, the skyscrapers of the banking district and the Alte Oper. Explore the historic city center with the "Römer" (city hall), the cathedral and St. Paul's Church - or go on an extended shopping tour in Goethestrasse and the Zeil.

This tour takes you to vineyards and picturesque little towns, enormous medieval fortresses and the famous Lorelei rock. The price includes lunch and a ship ride to St. Goarshausen followed by wine tasting. You can take advantage of the stop in Rüdesheim to shop in the stores of the famous Drosselgasse.
