New Deposit System now also in Terminal 1

Simple, quick and free of charge:

With the implementation of our new baggage cart deposit system in Terminal 2 and now also in Terminal 1 you will be able to obtain baggage carts within only one minute. The baggage cart depots are located near the check-in counters, baggage claim, Terminal forecourts and at the parking garages. The new service is free of charge. Users will be required to pay a two euro deposit (cash, credit card, EC/Maestro card) and then the cart can be pulled out of the depot.

The deposit is refunded when returning the cart to one of the depot stations.

Furthermore, you can also use our special hand baggage carts in the transit area free of charge.

Porter and Escort Service:

No matter what airline you fly with, at Frankfurt Airport you can hire the services of a porter or escort to get you and your luggage where you need to go — conveniently and by the shortest route.

Available for a fee, the porter service is helpful for moving luggage within the public area (in front of the security checks).

For a fee, an escort is assigned to accompany or assist you.

These services can be taken advantage of by individual guests or groups.

The porter and escort services can be booked in advance or order right at the airport from one of the many free service telephones.
