Product Piracy

Some people are only tempted to take advantage of a bargain, while others may be hoping to turn a big profit. But don't fall for it! Even the attempt to import copies or imitations of branded products can lead to your prosecution.

The customs authorities will immediately confiscate all such products — even if only small quantities are involved — under the German Trade Mark Act (corresponding to EU Directive 3295/94). You'll also have to pay a large fine.
