Pier B
Both levels of the international non-Schengen B Pier are going to be redesigned by 2012. The new concept aims at creating an integrated whole with harmoniously meshing functions: shopping and dining, general waiting areas, services, etc. The findings of several studies and market research have gone into the planning. The space will be structured differently; interior decorating, materials, and lighting will be systematically used to create an even more pleasant atmosphere.
While the second level will mainly contain shops (two large duty-free outlets, watches, jewelry, fashions, accessories, sourvenirs, electronics, etc.), level 3 will hold a food court covering 2500 square meters and featuring a spectacular view of the airfield. From self-service to waited restaurants and on to cafes and bars, there will be something to suit everyone’s taste, budget, and available time.
