Owing to its central location very close to the airport and CargoCity, the Mönchhof site is an ideal base for distributing goods and services throughout the Rhine-Main region.
The concept for its utilization focuses on logistics, offices, and small retail outlets. The target group comprises companies running airport-related businesses, firms that require an optimally accessible location, and hotels and restaurants.
Situated right on the Main River and containing numerous islands of vegetation, the Mönchhof Site is an extremely attractive work environment.
Areas
- Occupying total space of 110 hectares and straddling the municipalities of Raunheim and Kelsterbach, the Mönchhof Site is the largest contiguous block of commercially zoned land now being developed in the Rhine-Main region.
- The site boasts roughly 724,000 sq.m of net development land with lots between 5000 and 120,000 sq.m in size.
- Approved development plans exist for the site. All of the areas designated for development are zoned for commercial use.
Access
- Directly accessible from the A3 and A67 motorways and Rüsselsheimer Strasse (the former B43 highway) and located just a few minutes’ drive from the Frankfurt motorway junction (Frankfurter Kreuz).

Marketing
Since 2007, about 365,000 sq.m of space in the Mönchhof Site has been marketed so far. This represents roughly 50% of the total. The development of the Mönchhof Site will ultimately generate up to 6500 new jobs.
