Airport City West
Room for Your Future
In the years ahead, the area once used by the Ticona chemical factory in the northwest of the airport premises will be the site of one of the development projects that are being implemented in response to the growing demand for commercial real estate at Frankfurt Airport, a leading mobility hub. Beginning in 2011 the area will be gradually developed for commercial use.
The area’s highlight is the Airport City West office building, which was completed in 2002. This structure enjoys both excellent future prospects and a view of nature.
Location and Accessibility
The overall area, which boasts about 45 hectares of gross building land, is situated astride the city limits of Kelsterbach. It is highly accessible and offers ideal conditions for commercial activities of all kinds: logistics, research, production, administration, and much more.
As an integral part of the Frankfurt Airport City, the area enjoys optimum connections. Terminal 1 and CargoCity South are just a few minutes’ drive away. It also boasts outstanding access to and from the region’s major motorways. There are now plans to integrate it into the region’s metropolitan train (S-Bahn) network and introduce bus services. A railway siding may also be added.
Our Power Package
This image-enhancing, H-shaped office complex with three floors was built in 2001/2002. It has enough space to accommodate between 300 and 350 workers. The building was planned for maximum transparency and is entered via an impressive reception hall that is as high as all three floors together. Directly adjoining it is a social area that includes a kitchen and a generously dimensioned dining room with seating capacity for about 190 employees and guests. There is also a patio in the courtyard that is a pleasant place to relax in the summer months and can be taken advantage to enlarge the dining area or hold festivities.
Room for Your Future
The offices are located in the building’s two outer wings. Their size and shape can be flexibly configured to permit any desired use. All of the offices feature leading-edge communication systems, integrated wall cabinets and ventilation systems. Between the two office wings are conference rooms equpiped with state-of-the-art media technology. The cellar floor contains additional rooms for storage and archiving. The building is ideally suited for use as an administrative and/or training center.
The View from the Outside
The imposing lobby makes a friendly, inviting impression thanks to the large-pane glazing of the facade and lighting that is automatically adjusted to account for ambient light. Natural stone with underfloor heating adorn the paths to the offices. Acoustic insulation, thermally insulating glazing with outside sunblinds and a wind protection system with a central control panel ensure ideal working conditions.
