New Managing Director at Airmail Center Frankfurt

As of January 1, 2012, Dieter Schorn has been appointed as the second Managing Director of the Airmail Center Frankfurt GmbH (ACF). He now runs the company together with Martina Nofz.

Mr. Schorn started his career more than 35 years ago at Lufthansa. After being responsible for the Group marketing in Lufthansa’s Passenger Airlines business segment and working as a representative for DHL in Belgium, he became Airmail Manager at Lufthansa Cargo. “My international career path gave me the opportunity to gain insight into various management and work styles of different countries, regions and companies. My past experience has prepared me for the new challenge and will help me to implement ACF’s corporate goals in the future.”

Before joining the Airmail Center, Dieter Schorn was head of the Competence Center Valuables at Lufthansa Cargo. The ACF will benefit from his long-term experience as an aviation professional who has gained detailed insight into both international and local processes of the airmail business. “This is the point where we will start from: Together with my colleague Martina Nofz and the entire ACF team we will seek to further streamline the airmail process chain in order to fine-tune it to our customers’ needs.”
