Arrival & Departure
Stopping in Front of the Terminals:
You may stop in front of the terminals free of charge to load or unload or to let passengers in or out. Please place a disabled parking permit or disabled pass (in Germany, it must either "G" meaning "exceptionally reduced mobility in road traffic" or "aG" meaning "exceptional walking disability") on the dashboard.
Parking at Terminal 1:
The parking spaces for handicapped drivers are located in parking structure P4, Level U2, Row 25. To get there take the P4 entrance, which is right at the Frankfurt Airport Conference Center (FAC) across from Terminal 1. Use the call button on the ticket dispenser to ask for the barrier to be opened. After parking, follow the general airport signs to your airline's check-in counter.
The nearest call point for passenger assistance is located in the B Departures hall next to entrance 6. Follow the signs for the B Concourse of Terminal 1.
Parking at Terminal 2:
The parking spaces for handicapped drivers are located in parking structure P8, Level U4, Row 17. Use the call button on the ticket dispenser to ask for the barrier to be opened. After parking, follow the general airport signs to your airline's check-in counter.
The nearest call point for passenger assistance is located in the middle between the D and E departure halls. Take the lift and get out on the D/E arrivals/departures level.
Special Parking Spaces for Tall Vehicles:
The clearance height for driving into our parking structures is 2.1 meters. Please use our XXL parking lot P36 for taller vehicles. It is located near Terminal 1. Please note that different fees are charged there.

Taxis may stop directly in front of the terminals.
To find your check-in counter, please follow the signs. The nearest call point for passenger assistance is located in the middle of Terminal 1 in the B Departures hall, on Level 2 near entrance 6. In Terminal 2 it is between the D and E Departures areas near entrances 5 and 6.
Travelers with reduced mobility can obtain assistance for boarding, transferring and detraining by contacting the mobility service of Deutsche Bahn AG:

To request assistance for boarding, transferring and detraining in advance, please use the registration form at www.bahn.de. To make sure that the service personnel of Deutsche Bahn AG can organize this assistance in time, it is advisable to notify the mobility service sufficiently in advance (at least one workday ahead of time).
Regional Train Station:
If you arrive by local public transportation (S-Bahn, RE or RB), you get out at platform 1, 2 or 3 of the regional train station (on Level -1). From platform 2 and 3, follow the blue wheelchair symbol to a lift that you can take to the departures level, or else use the escalator. In section B of platform 1, there is a lift to the ServicePoint of Deutsche Bahn AG (on Level 0). You can use the intercom there to request assistance.
Long-Distance Train Station:
If you arrive by long-distance train (IC, EC or ICE), you get out at platform 4, 5, 6 or 7 of the long-distance train station in the AIRail Terminal. Each platform has a lift you may use. To find your check-in counter, follow the signs. There are special signs for wheelchair users. The nearest call point for requesting assistance is located on the right at the end of the long walkway leading from the long-distance train station to Terminal 1.
Arriving at Terminal 1:
You arrive at the bus station across from the Arrivals area of Terminal 1. Follow the signs to find your airline's check-in counter.
The nearest Help Points for the Passenger Support Service are located
- In the B Arrivals hall: Cross the street between the bus station and the terminal to get to the B Arrivals hall (on the same level). The Help Point is next to entrance 6;
- On the pedestrian bridge from the long-distance train station to Terminal 1: In the building next to bus stop 24, take the lift up to Level 3. Walk into the passageway that connects the building you are in with the terminal. Continue around to the left to find the Help Point for the Passenger Support Service.
Arriving at Terminal 2:
You arrive at the bus station across from the Departures and Arrivals area of Terminal 2. Follow the signs to find your airline's check-in counter.
To find the Help Point for the Passenger Support Service, use entrance 5 or 6 to enter the terminal. You'll see it right away (between the D and E Departures areas).
